A FUN day out...Saturday June 26th

We started the day out by going to the park. Then we went to my parents' house and went swimming. After a long day outside we were all tired and hungry. Rob and Sheree had everyone over to their house for a BBQ. YUM. The day tunred out to be one of the best I've had in a long time, dispite all sunburns.

Waited too long

Well I definately waited too long to post. We have done so much fun stuff lately. I have lots of pictures to post today so they may end up being posted at different times. So here it goes...


We turned Jillians car seat around. She loves to be able to see out the front window and all around. My baby is growing up.



Our first attempt to swim at my parents' house. How crazy is that. June 19th and that was the first time we got in the pool. It's just been too cold before that. What a summer. I hope the warm weather goes later in the year since it took so long to warm up.



Papa Don (my dad) showing off his hand puppet to the kids. We call him Critter. My dad always loved to show him us when we were kids. We always reacted like Jillian did...a little scared.

Daisha had a friend sleep over. They thought they were going to sleep out on the trampoline but within about 45 minutes of laughing and giggling they were inside because they got scared. And then they didn't end up falling asleep until 3:30am. Girls!

11 months old...yesterday

Well, I am a day late but better one day than one year. :) Jillian turned 11 months old yesterday. YEAH next month we get to have a birthday party. I can't wait! Our little Jilly Bear, as you can see in the pictures, pulls herself up on to things getting herself in trouble sometimes. But she's a blast to have. She finally got her teeth through. She has 2 teeth on the bottom that are very sharp now. She is growing up too fast!

Today on our trip to the DI (thrift store) we found some packs of 35mm film. You know the old school way of taking pictures. So I bought it for Daisha and let her use my old camera that I got for a graduation gift from high school. She is having a blast taking pictures of everyone and everything. Once she finishes the roll and saves up enough money to get it developed I will scan a few and show you how she did. (It might be a while before that happens though).

Well we have another sick child. And he is awake so I better tend to my work.

Startin' to get HOT!

Today it was a little hotter than it has been lately. We were all happy about that...hot weather means SWIMMING! It's not been hot enough to swim in the big pool but just the blow up pool will do for the kids. They had a great time playing with their cousin Krehl. He came over to play today while his mom (my sister in law) had some "me time". Hope it was enough of a break for her.

We are...or should I say I am getting anxious for my other sister in law to come home from her vacation to Missouri. She comes home tomorrow. I am so excited. She's a great friend! We have some great moments together. I miss her, and of course her baby Maddi.

Well tonight is the Bachelorette. Gotta go get the kids settled down so I can watch my "girlie" show. :)

Another day as a mom...

I just wanted to post something so I stay on top of this stuff. I don't want to leave anything out. The last couple of days hasn't been so great for our family. Daisha out of the blue got sick. Throwing up and a fever. As a mom that is the worst feeling in the world. To have a child sick. So needless to say, I am not going to add any pictures with this post. Didn't think you would appreciate a picture of her throwing up. ;)
We have been having my sister and her husband over almost every night playing cards. Tonight she made her homemade lasagna. It's so yummy! I had to say that cause her husband it out of town and that is his favorite meal, and she made it for us while he was gone. LOL! Sorry Rob.
I guess other than Daisha being sick things have been great. Hope everyone is enjoying this not so warm summer. :)

The boys...

Bryton is 3 and he is very much interested in all the Toy Story movies. Bryton is our little ball of energy. I think he is still in the terrible 2 stage. He is always getting hurt, falling down and fighting with the older kids. Bryton loves to collect pezes like his mom. He is definately a momma's boy. He is always telling me he is on "my team". He's such a cutie.

Tucker is 4 and he is a joy to have in our family. He recently had to get glasses. They are just for reading, but the doctor said if we can get him in a habit of wearing them now then when he gets older it won't be so hard to do. Poor kid, he has his momma's eyes. Tucker is very into Transformers. He loves to play xbox with his dad, but we use that only as a reward.

We recently bought a big 14 foot trampoline. The kids love it! They are always outside playing games and jumping on the trampoline. The best purchase our family has ever made. I will try this next week to take some pics of them playing on the trampoline.

Our little Jillian. We call her "Jilly Bear". She is 10 1/2 months old now. She is crawling every where and starting to pull herself up on things and getting into trouble. It's kind of a famliy joke but when she gets in trouble she will hit herself on the head and give herself what our family calls a "headbob". It's so funny when she does that. We are so glad we have Jilly Bear to keep things interesting around here.



Daisha so excited for everyone to see her finish kindergarten and move on to 1st grade, but I think she was tired of the camera.

I am taking over

Ok, so I am new to all this blog stuff...so I am going to try it out. This was Jeremy's blog for school and I don't know how to get rid of his school stuff so just ignore it for now, until I get things figured out.

I am going to try to figure out how to put pictures and stuff on here, because the website that we had we can no longer update. (it's a long story)

Anyways...that is my post for now. I will play around and figure out how to use a blog.
